Sim City meets Aeon of Strife in an epic battle between the Pheonix and the Dark Phoenix. The map has a large size and was constructed using the Sunken Ruins tileset.

Amidst the ruins of a once peaceful world now stand two outposts where the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix are preparing for a decisive battle. There are also Deacon Silvus, the incarnate of his dark benefactor, and the avatar of light, Commander Ihab. [admark=1]Even the remaining wildlife, not decimated by the decadence and furious elements, has been taken heed of the deathly serious calm that rules the land. There is no hope for a truce between the two factions - there is either survival or annihilation.

City Worth is the cumulative group worth of all your allies. Individual worth is determined by how much effort and investment you put in constructing your city. Certain items are denoted by how much worth they add. You salary is directly related to your city's population and your worth, and you get it every 8 seconds. Population is the most vital attribute of your city. It determines how fast your military structure produces. It is affected by your food, residential space and villagers in your city. Food supply determines your maximum population. It is affected by farms and pigs. There are four levels of residential buildings. Each level determines how much space your city has to house its population. Like food, your population cannot exceed this. Souls can be used to purchase valuable items from your respective altar and to potentially end the game. Military structures represent the number of barracks and arcane sanctums that each team has.

There are two methods of winning in Seasons of Uncertainty - Showdown: - destroy your opponents altar - summon either the Phoenix or Dark Phoenix. You require 100 souls to do this. Souls are acquired by killing enemy heroes and generated through prayer stones.
