Imagine Dragons made their way into top charts with songs like “Radioactive,” “It's Time,” or “Demons,” and now the band has just released the music video for their forth hit “Top of the World.”

For their latest video, the band goes back in time to reveal some secrets about the world's most controversial conspiracy theory, the 1969 moon landing. The video is very different from what the band released until now, surprising fans in a positive way.

Talking about taking the idea of “Top of the World” literally, the video shows the artists in the role of astronauts going to the moon. The video starts by showing each band member leaving their family and getting ready for the big mission while reenacting the famous Beatles Abbey Road crossing.

When finally arriving to the moon, the picture changes and shows the brave astronauts on a movie set trying to reenact the famous landing-on-the-moon scene. Making fun of the whole conspiracy theory the band ends up dancing and singing in a big concert.

The video was directed by Matt Eastin and Corey Fox and is one of those videos that reveal something new every time you watch them. It has a lot of small hints and subliminal messages, like the writing on the tin-foil-wearing child's T-shirt that says “Sno Gard” which read backwards spells “dragons.”

Their last video for the smashing hit “Demons,” was dedicated to their fan, Tyler Robinson, who passed away after a difficult battle with cancer. The band is now on their sold-out tour in Europe promoting the album “Night Visions.”
