It comes in black and white colors and has a now normal Full HD resolution

As far as monitors go, the one that Iiyama has just launched is a relatively unassuming one, but that's exactly what it's supposed to be.

Called ProLite E2380HSD, it has a TN-film panel with a normal 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution (Full HD) and 250 cd/m2 brightness.

The display also happens to possess a response time of 5ms and “dynamic mega-contrast,” not that the last bit matters much, since dynamic contrast only affects low-light scenes when you're in a dark room.

That leaves the viewing angles, which are actually kind of painful to consider, at 80°/80° (H/V). With LED backlighting, you'd think they'd be better. Not necessarily IPS-grade (178°/178°), but at least of 120°. Alas, they are not.

The only bright side is the EcoMode technology, which lowers the power draw (an admittedly low 25W) by 40%.

Other specs include DVI.D-Sub inputs and 3W stereo speakers. Sadly, no prices are known.
