It's a pretty average display overall, except for the response time of 2 ms

A new monitor is in town, or at least in Japanese stores, or will be soon: the Iiyama T2253MTS, with a 21.5-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

When put like that, the display doesn't sound that amazing. That doesn't mean it isn't though. Or, at least, that it doesn't have one or two strong points.

For one, the display has a response time of 2 ms, well beyond the normal 5 ms.

Also, the screen panel is a scratch-resistant, 3 mm-thick piece of glass.

Add to that 5-point multi-touch, 220 cd/m2 brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio and you have a pretty good monitor for 35,800 yen / $354 / €262.

Other things worth mentioning are the dual 1 W speakers, three video inputs (D-Sub, DVI, HDMI) and USB support.
