It’s the season to be jolly, and for gaming fans a nice gaming notebook might do just the trick, especially if snow kicks in and one's stuck in-doors most of the times.

Iiyama has just introduced its latest 15.6-inch 15GSH7010-i7-VGB-DQX gaming notebook. The laptop offers 10% increased performance on the same clock, compared with the previous generation, because the manufacturer has slipped in an Intel i7 processor from the Haswell family, coupled with 8GB of RAM and complete with Intel Turbo Boost technology.

The 15.6-inch notebook features a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display, taking advantage of the NVDIA GeForce GT 750M 2GB DDR3, which enables a richer and more immersive gaming experience.

On top of that, Iiyama equips this offering with a 500GB hard drive, a DVD Super Multi Drive and Wi-Fi IEEE802.11 b/g/n. The device ships with the latest Windows 8.1.

So if you fancy a new gaming laptop, the IIyama 15GSH7010 ships for about $981 / €716. But before purchasing one, consider the fact that MSI has rolled out the first 3K gaming laptop, which is of course more expensive ($2,199 / €1,609), but maybe you'd want to save your money for that, instead.
