Chinese company Huawei announced last month the upcoming availability of the MediaPad 7 Youth budget-friendly tablet. The slate is expected to arrive in Europe, Asia Pacific and China sometime this fall.

The new tablet is powered by Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and is aimed at “young people who are always on the move.”

Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display and 1.6GHz dual-core processor inside. It drains energy from a 4100mAh Li-Polymer battery and offers HSPA+ (up to 21Mbps) connectivity capabilities.

Other highlights of the tablet include Wi-Fi, voice calling, SMS and MMS capabilities as well both rear and front-facing cameras.
