Chinese handset maker ZTE recently launched on the market one of its high-end devices, the Grand X. Today, the company announced at IFA 2012 trade fair another variation of ZTE Grand X, but this one equipped with an Intel chipset.

Dubbed ZTE Grand X IN, the smartphone embeds the power-efficient Intel Atom processor Z2460 with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, and support for HSPA+ 21Mbps network with the Intel XMM 6260 Platform.

The Grand X IN is ZTE's first flagship smartphone in Europe to feature Intel Inside, and we look forward to building our partnership with Intel. In addition, the ZTE Grand X IN sports a more than decent 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

There’s also an enhanced 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

The device drains energy from a 1650 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

It also comes with the latest communication capabilities, including Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Mobile HD link (via micro-USB) short range connectivity. Dolby Sound and HD Video Capture features are included as well.

ZTE claims the Grand X IN will begin shipping in Europe in September, though the company did not reveal any details on the phone’s pricing options.
