14 DAY TRIAL // A bit larger than the IdeaTab A2109, the IdeaTab S2110A is the tablet from Lenovo’s lineup that is most likely to end up competing against Apple’s iPad and its contenders.
Measuring 10.1 inches in diagonal, it is based on a dual-core Qualcomm central processor (1.5 GHz) and boasts 1 GB of RAM as well, plus 16/32 GB of storage space and all the other features of a slate.
The dock is the interesting bit though. Connected to the slate very easily (and disconnected just as easily, with a button press), it doubles the battery life (from 10 to 20 hours) and integrates a couple of USB ports too, plus an SD card reader and, of course, a trackpad with mouse buttons.
Unfortunately, the dock isn’t included in the price. It will require an extra $100 over the base $399 / 399 Euro when sales begin, in November.
