The Smartphone failed the freeze test

You probably wonder what kind of sick and twisted people would destroy a $400 handheld that runs Windows Pocket PC phone edition that has a quad-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE unit, with 64MB of RAM, 128MB of ROM and a miniSD slot for memory expansion.

I surely wouldn't! Recently, after a digital video camera was put into a blender machine while it was taping its own death it's time for another gadget to take another destruction test.

This time it's i-mate JAQ smartphone that undergoes serious damage. The smartphone was put into freezing water and then it was left there to freeze. The frozen block solid phone was repeatedly bashed.

The phone didn't respond quite well. The software was damaged to such point that the phone didn't even turn back on. The 1.4 megapixel camera was destroyed.

The deranged individual that performed the test has surely reasons to worry as the phone was totally destroyed. The purpose of the test was to see whether or not the software still manages to function after being roughly damaged.

There's no logical reason to destroy such a remarkable gadget. Maybe you'll find it funny, because I didn't.

An attached video file caught the instant death of the JAQ immediately after the bashing procedures. Rest in peace!
