Jimmy Fallon has been dying to orchestrate a reunion of the cast of “Saved by the Bell” for the 20th anniversary of the show. Most of the actors are game for it, save for Tiffani Thiessen, who explains in a new Funny Or Die video that there’s simply too much on her plate to be bothered with such petty details. What keeps her the busiest, though, is looking so insanely hot.

Fans of Funny Or Die videos must already know why they are so immensely popular: because they allow celebrities, no matter how big or small, to poke fun at everything that’s being said in the media at their expense or that they consider hilarious about other celebrities. In Thiessen’s case, the former applies, since speculation had it that she did not want to do the reunion for several reasons, the biggest one being that she was too stuck-up to agree.

Far from the case, the actress explains in the new video. It’s not that she doesn’t want to reunite with her former mates on the popular comedy show, it’s that she can’t because she’s too busy. Asking her to do the reunion on Jimmy Fallon would be like asking Angelina Jolie to put her humanitarian work aside to have a reunion with the cast of “Girl Interrupted,” the actress jokes, or like telling Madonna to stop doing whatever she’s doing for something completely insignificant. Moreover, Thiessen says, she’s too busy looking hot to do the reunion – and that should count as the one reason that weighs the heaviest in the balance.

“‘As much as I would like to do it, I’m just really busy,’ says Tiffani, before rattling off an impressive list of what keeps her occupied… From developing a new fuel cell for NASA, making improvements to marijuana in Costa Rica, fronting an Indigo Girls tribute band and sitting by her pool several times a week looking hot, Tiffani clearly doesn’t have the time. So cut the girl a little slack, Jimmy. You try and prepare for a grilled cheese competition at the end of the month while also producing, directing and doing all the voices for a live-action cat comedy and see if you have room in your schedule to sit around and talk about the so-called good old days.” E! As it happens, if Tiffani does not have the time for Jimmy Fallon, she did squeeze in a couple of hours for People magazine and its latest photospread. The entire “Saved by the Bell” cast (sans Screech) is featured in the latest issue to celebrate 20 years since the show. If you haven’t had the chance to pick that up, watch the video here in which Tiffani Thiessen explains what keeps her so busy. Some caution is advised for some strong language.
