Use them if you want something made of a mix of rubber, play-doh, clay and whatever else

3D printers are the things that can automatically create three-dimensional objects, but it's the extruders that ultimately determine how the objects are made and from what. Hyrel 3D is showing off its expertise in this area.

The company not only made it possible for four objects to be printed at the same time, but it was able to make the heads use different materials and even mold the objects together as they were being printed.

Among the materials compatible with the new extruder heads there are clay, rubber, play-doh, etc.

It's good for mass production, since it can become tedious to individually print things when you want dozens of copies of the same thing ready in time for whatever event you're setting up.

Sadly, the price is not exactly accessible to consumers, at $4,000 / €2,931, but it's not too high for would-be 3D service printing providers.
