Hundreds of websites from the United Kingdom and Hungary have been hacked and defaced by a Syrian hacker that uses the online moniker RBG HomS.

The hacktivist has published a list of over 1,100 defaced domains. However, many of them are subdomains of the same site.

“Sorry to put this page on your website but we want to send a message to your countries and the international community about what happens in Syria which claims to maintain human rights. Where is your government and the international community, even children not spared from murder,” the hacker wrote both in English and Arabic.

He added, “Even chemical weapons being used and did not see your countries any move to stop this aggression on the innocent people.”

At the time of writing, most of the websites are still defaced. The most likely scenario is that they are all hosted on the same server, which has allowed the attacker to carry out the mass defacement.
