We’re certainly being flooded with indie game bundles nowadays, as after last week’s Indie Gala promotion and the Indie Royale Xmas Bundle at the beginning of this week, we now have the Humble Indie Bundle 4, which once again brings an array of high quality downloadable independent games for whatever price you want to pay for them.

While there have been quite a lot of great independent game bundles recently, the Humble Bundles are definitely the industry’s benchmark, always offering some great deals that support not just independent game developers, but also charities and even gamers themselves who can save money.

Now, the Humble Indie Bundle 4 is here, offering seven great games that work across the Windows, Mac and Linux platforms, without any kind of DRM.

“Introducing Humble Indie Bundle 4,” the website said. “Get 5 classic indie games: Super Meat Boy, Jamestown, Night Sky, Bit Trip Runner and Shank for whatever price you want while helping the Child's Play Charity and the American Red Cross. Plus if you beat the average, you'll also be getting Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles.”

Included in this new bundle are great titles like Super Meat Boy, Shank, Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, and Nightsky. If you pay above the average price, which is now at $5.36 (€4.11) you also get two other games for free, Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles.

While all of these games would cost around $100 if bought separately, the humble bundle allows you to pay as much as you want, with your money going to the developers, as well as charities like Child’s Play or the American Red Cross.

All of these titles work great on the Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems, and can even be redeemed on Steam or be downloaded through regular executable files, without any kind of digital rights management (DRM) anti-piracy software.
