14 DAY TRIAL // It seems that going as Miley Cyrus at the MTV VMAs 2013 for Halloween was a favorite with female celebrities, so this probably proves that, as Miley said, she wrote history with her performance with Robin Thicke.
Hugh Hefner and wife Crystal Hefner nee Harris dressed up like Thicke and Cyrus for the annual Playboy Halloween party and, of course, posted a couple of photos in costume on Twitter, for their fans.
You can see one of them attached to this article as well: it’s the now-infamous pose Miley struck on stage, as she was twerking on Thicke during a live rendition of his hit “Blurred Lines.” As you can see, Crystal is mimicking Miley in even her trademark gesture of sticking out her tongue.
However, in all fairness, Crystal is wearing more clothes than Miley did during the performance earlier this year: she’s wearing a mini dress, while the former Hannah Montana star first walked in in a teddy bear leotard, which she ripped off to reveal latex bra and undies.
If you’re picky enough, you can also object to the fact that The Hef is actually wearing a pair of silk pajamas with stripes and not an actual suit like Thicke wore but, we’d say, in this case, it was the thought that counts.
As noted above, when talking about how she came up with the idea for the VMAs performance, Miley said she wanted to do something so outrageous and fun it would go down in history.
Well, Paris Hilton also dressed up as Miley at the VMAs 2013 for this year’s Halloween, so we’d say Miley’s mission has been accomplished. After all, it’s not every pop star out there that does something so memorable as to become a Halloween costume, isn’t that right?
