86-year-old media mogul will tie the knot with 26-year-old girlfriend on New Year’s Eve

She may have dumped her future husband almost literally at the altar (5 days before the wedding), but 26-year-old Crystal Harris has finally realized she was ready for marriage – to Hugh Hefner, 86, no less.

A new report suggests that the two, reconciled since this summer, have decided it was about time they took their romance one step further, and will tie the knot this month.

Indeed, Harris has accepted Hefner’s proposal (again) and has agreed to be married to him on New Year’s Eve, TMZ reports.

“Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner is engaged (again) to Crystal Harris (again) and the two will walk down the aisle at the Playboy Mansion on New Year's Eve (oooh, that's new!), TMZ has learned,” the celebrity e-zine informs.

“According to our sources, Harris and Hef are better than ever these days, since Harris moved back into the Playboy Mansion earlier this year. We're told the couple have worked out all their previous problems and decided recently they want to try and get married again,” the same media outlet writes.

The two were initially supposed to be married in June 2011, but Crystal bailed days before the wedding, without as much as offering Hefner an explanation for her gesture.

At the time, reports said that the whole thing, the wedding and the cancelation of the wedding, was nothing but a PR stunt meant to generate enough media attention for Harris to launch a music career, which both strongly infirmed whenever offered the chance.

This time, though, Crystal is determined to really go through with it and be married to Hefner.

“According to our sources, Harris feels the time she spent apart from Hef really taught her how to be independent and stand on her own two feet, something she felt she needed,” TMZ writes.

“Our sources say the wedding will be an intimate gathering with just close friends and family,” the e-zine adds.

Whether this time too the two will be shooting a wedding special like they did back in 2011 is not yet determined.
