Guess what: Bomberman 2 is one of them!

Hudson is mostly known for its multiplayer extravaganza Bomberman, a game concept that still is one of the most appreciated and fun ever released. However, this does not mean that the company is not doing its best with other products - for example, by the end of the first fiscal quarter of 2009, Hudson plans to release three brand new titles for the Nintendo Wii and DS which, hopefully, will hit the jackpot just like Bomberman did.

The first game under development for Wiis at Hudson has Hard Working People as working title and comes with a brand new and completely fun concept in video gaming: the planet needs to be saved, but you won't have to step in the shoes of the almighty super hero to save it, but start working hard! Although the concept is interesting, the story itself is quite stupid: a meteor is going to hit the planet and end life on it and you don't have the necessary amount of money to prevent that, so you have to raise funds by taking different jobs. Of course this has nothing to do with the real world, but it doesn't really matter as long as the game is fun. Which, according to Hudson, will be.

Also for Wii, the company has another game in development with the working title Kororinpa 2. It is a fast-paced action game where the player helps out a small Ant and its colony, by rolling a ball through over 100 stages in a quest to locate the mythical 'Golden Sunflower Seed.' Another strange story but, knowing that the game will use the balance Board for at least 10 stages, we do know it will be a great experience.

Also, Hudson is working on a Nintendo DS title and this time it keeps away from storytelling and goes for a sure hit: it's developing Bomberman 2. The sequel brings us a main hero with a new customizable look (the developers say that there are no less than 160,000 customization options!), extended gameplay and more open format environments. Of course, the most fun part of them all will be the multiplayer mode, which allows up to eight players to battle for supremacy.
