Chinese manufacturer Huawei has announced the availability of its new Android tablets, the MediaPad 7” Vogue and MediaPad 10” Link in Philippines. The two devices combine eye-pleasing aesthetics with powerful specifications.

Leo Wang, country manager of Huawei Device for Philippines, commented on the event.

“Building on the popularity of the HUAWEI MediaPad series, we've created a new tablet that cater for fashionistas, technology seekers, entertainment junkies and people who simply more from their technology.”

Enter the MediaPad 7 Vogue – an apt name for a device seeking to attract those looking for a classy design. The slate boasts a stunning unibody aluminum case with a 7-inch IPS LCD display featuring 600 x 1024 pixels resolution.

Power comes from its 1.2GHz Quad Core chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM. Of course it packs all the other functionalities one would expect to see in a tablet, like cameras and a mircoSD card slot.

The Vogue does offer something extra though, it allows users to place calls and to send text messages.

It ships with a bunch of pre-installed apps like Facebook, YouTube and brings GPS navigation to the table as well.

Its battery life can be prolonged up to a whopping 20 hours due to the Huawei advanced power-saving technology.

As for the MediaPad 10 Link, it will certainly appeal to those who like gaming or watching endless video content. The Dolby Surround Sound technology will ensure that users get the most the tablet has to offer in terms of audio experience.

With a Powerful Quad-core CPU and display of 1280 x 800 pixel density, media content and games will be beautifully shown.

A highlight here will certainly be the massive 6600 mAH battery, packed especially to provide countless hours of entertainment.

The devices can be ordered through third-party retails. The MediaPad 7” Vogue ships for PhP 10,990 / $254 / €188 while the MediaPad 10” Link comes at PhP 16,990 / $394 / €290.

Those purchasing one of the devices now, will also get a free leathercase to go along with the deal.
