Huawei Angler is the internal name of one of the Nexus smartphones that Google plans to reveal later this fall.

The information comes from sources close to the matter and also indicates that this might not be the only Nexus handset that Google will release this year.

The LG Bullhead is another Nexus smartphone that is rumored to arrive sometime this fall, but with different specs and pricing options.

Today, another source from inside Huawei UK confirmed to IBTimes that the company is already working with Google to launch a Nexus smartphone.

The Huawei Nexus smartphone will be released later this year, but the source who preferred to remain anonymous wasn't able to supply us with more details on the phone's specs.

Some Google services are blocked in China

However, when asked about the launch of the Huawei Nexus smartphone in China, one of the largest markets in the world, the source of the information said that even if Google's service are not available in this country the search giant along with Huawei will “work something out.”

Huawei is the biggest smartphone maker in China and the release of a Nexus smartphone made by this company will probably mark Google's debut on this market, especially if it finds a viable solution to bring its Gmail, Maps and search services to China.

According to previous rumors, the Nexus handsets manufactured by Huawei will boast a larger 5.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that will support Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

In addition, the device is said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset inside, which might not be such a good idea given the numerous overheating issues that the silicon component was faced with since its debut on the market.

All in all, we expect more details on the upcoming Nexus smartphones to emerge in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
