14 DAY TRIAL // If you have your heart set out on an iPad mini, but you can’t squeeze it in your budget at the moment, maybe you’d like to know Huawei is prepping a new tablet with a design reminiscent of the shrunken Apple slate.
The Huawei tablet model 7D-501 (via TabletGuide.nl) has apparently been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website, getting its certification.
Apparently, there are two models of the slate – one with WiFi, Bluetooth plus the SIM card, and one with 4G.
It looks like the two tablets will come with a 7-inch full HD screen (probably meaning 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution), two cameras, the one of the back being with flash plus a light sensor. Other information about the specifications hasn't been made available just yet.
The new Huawei slate is supposed to be 7.5 mm / 0.29 inches thin and will be launched on the international market, not just in China.
