14 DAY TRIAL // Chinese company Huawei has already confirmed launch event for June 8, but the handset maker did not share any details on the device that should be unveiled next week.
However, previous leaks suggested that Huawei might announce the Honor 7, another mid-range Android smartphone that should be released worldwide.
Today, the smartphone was spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, which points to an imminent reveal in the next couple of days, GizChina reports.
Although a few live pictures of the alleged Huawei Honor 7 leaked online, the images listed at TENAA are the first official photos that provide us with a clear look at what to expect from Huawei's upcoming smartphone.
Unfortunately, the pictures published at TENAA aren't accompanied by any information about the smartphone's specs, so we can only confirm the Honor 7 will come with fingerprint scanner since it's shown in one of the images.
The Honor 7 Plus might be revealed next week too
Luckily, some details on Honor 7 have already leaked online, so we know what to expect from Huawei's smartphone, though keep in mind that the information hasn't been confirmed yet.
Based on previous leaks, Huawei Honor 7 should be equipped with a HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
It's also worth mentioning that Huawei will also launch a Plus version that will be powered by the same CPU, but it will pack 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Both versions should sport 5-inch capacitive touchscreen displays with full HD (1080p) resolutions. In addition, their will pack 13-megapixel rear-cameras with autofocus, LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization) and video recording.
On the inside, the smartphones will be powered by 3,280 mAh batteries, and will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop alongside Emotion 3.0 UI right out of the box. They are expected to be launch in June and July, respectively.
