14 DAY TRIAL // Huawei's mid-range Honor 4X smartphone is about to make its debut in the UK. The Chinese company confirmed a few weeks ago that it would bring its popular Honor 4X in Europe.
Beginning today, Huawei Honor 4X is available for pre-order via Amazon UK. Customers can pre-purchase one for only £145 ($215 / €200) outright. According to the UK retailer, the smartphone should hit shelves on April 17.
The smartphone is available in both white and black colors, and it offers dual-SIM support. Due to the latter, Huawei Honor 4X is less likely to be introduced at UK carriers anytime soon.
The Honor 4X was released in China last year, but the European version comes with slight changes as far as specs are concerned.
For example, the Chinese model is equipped with a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, while the European version is powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 620 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which is complemented by a Mali 450 graphics processing unit.

It also worth mentioning that Huawei Honor 4X features 2GB of RAM and only 8GB of internal memory, but users will be able to further expand storage up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.
On the back, the Honor 4X boasts a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, and full HD (1080p) video recording, while on the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.
Software-wise, Huawei Honor 4X ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box and Emotion UI 3.0 on top. It's unclear whether or not this device will further receive any major software updates.
Other highlights of the smartphone include 4G LTE support, 5.5-inch IPS LCD HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display, and 3,000 mAh battery. Huawei Honor 4X is expected to arrive in other European countries soon.
