Huawei is still trying to conquer the Indian market with its low- to mid-range smartphones, but the Chinese handsets maker has too few devices available for purchase.

However, it looks like the company is working to fix that, so Huawei fans in India should expect a plethora of new smartphones in the coming months.

AndroidOS reports two new Android phones will make their debut in India in March. Huawei Ascend G730 and Ascend Y600 have yet to be officially announced by the Chinese company, but we expect they will be unveiled next month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014.

The information comes via Indian blog site Gagdets to Use, which attended Huawei’s latest press event in India and managed to score some snapshots with the company’s roadmap for this year.

The Ascend G730 and Y600 appear on the list of upcoming devices with a March release date attached to it. There’s no word on exact availability and price tag yet, but more details are likely to surface next month.

Although the Ascend G730 was showcased earlier this month at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014, Huawei did not announce the upcoming availability of the smartphone.

However, we do know the smartphone comes equipped with a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

In addition, the Ascend G730 sports a large 5.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

The phone also comes with dual cameras (5-megapxiel rear-facing photo snapper and VGA secondary camera), as well as Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.

Huawei Ascend Y600 is said to pack a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot (up to 32GB).

The smartphone sports a 5-inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution, as well as a 2100 mAh battery. It sports a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

It is also worth mentioning that both smartphones will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out the box, but there’s no word on dual-SIM support yet.
