Adobe Lightroom has a more direct approach when it comes to image editing and, even though it doesn't come with the same versatility as Photoshop, it provides everything you need to edit and publish your images.

In order to learn more about how Lightroom 5 works, we recommend following the video tutorials published by Adobe on its YouTube page on a regular basis.

In this new video tutorial, Julieanne Kost, principal evangelist Photoshop and Lightroom, will show you how to automatically correct the perspective of an image using the newly introduced Upright feature.

Found in the Lens Corrections area from the Develop module, Upright allows you to automatically straighten vertical and horizontal lines in your images, resulting in a more natural perspective.

The feature can also be applied to multiple images at the same time using the Sync button and choosing Upright Mode or Upright Transforms options to transfer only the upright corrections or/and custom numerical manual modifications.
