If you didn't know, Gmail is a mail solution that is available in numerous languages although most of the users prefer to use the product in the main US interface. However, if you want to change your language, here's what you must do: login in to your Gmail account, click on 'Settings' and you should be able to see a Gmail display language drop down menu. Click on it and choose one of the numerous languages included in the list.

As you can see, you can choose from Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, UK English, US English, Ukrainian, or Vietnamese, as the Mountain View company mentions them in the Gmail help center.

All you need to do next is click on the 'Save Changes' button and start using your Gmail account in the language you selected. You don't need to log off your account or to close the website because the changes are applied once you save the modifications.

"Your account interface will appear in the language of your choice after you click Save Changes. Remember, your account's display language doesn't affect the language in which your messages are sent and received," the Gmail help manual states.

"Some of the features available in the English setting may not be available when you select another language setting. We're working hard to make all of Gmail's features available in every language setting, so thanks for your patience."

Gmail was released in 2004 and since then, the mail solution grew a lot, becoming the top mail service in several regions of the world. That's why you're now able to use the product in your native language even if you're a Romanian, an Ukrainian or a Russian.
