Now using a Blogger function

Nowadays, almost every Internet user has a blog to post his/her own articles and thoughts so every utility which addresses the blogging activities is pretty attractive. Today, the folks working at the Blogger team rolled out a new function for their service which allows the registered members to track a comment with ease. This can be easily done through email because the new Blogger feature helps you subscribe to comments on any of the blogs hosted by the Google service. The email button is placed near the 'Subscribe to comments' line placed on the post page.

"In order to subscribe to comments by email, you must be logged in to a Google Account. Please log in with the account using the email address at which you'd like to receive the comment emails. As soon as you're logged in, you'll be taken to a confirmation page where you can click "Subscribe" to opt in. On this page, you'll also have the option to use a different Google Account to receive comment emails," the Blogger team mentioned in the blogging service FAQ.

The bad thing about this new function is that you can use it only if you are a Google registered member because you can receive the notifications only on Gmail accounts. Moreover, you have to be logged in into your Google account before you hit the subscribe button.

"After you subscribe, you'll receive one email for every comment published on the post. For moderated comments, an email will be sent out only after the comment has been approved by the moderator," Google adds.

In case you want to unsubscribe and avoid receiving notifications every time a new comment is posted in a certain post, you can easily click on the link provided by the Blogger emails sent to your account.
