Backdoor.Hupigon.aahh is the newest threat that may assault your computer, but this time, it may be a really important danger. According to SpywareRemove.com, the backdoor attempts to deploy its files through browser vulnerabilities discovered on your computer, but it may also be installed by email. It seems like Backdoor.Hupigon.aahh can be delivered through email attachments, so just be careful to ignore the messages that look suspect. "Backdoor.Hupigon.aahh is known to distribute itself through various browser exploits in your Internet browser or may be delivered as a malicious email attachment", the source mentioned above wrote in a security notification.

Just like any other backdoor, this new threat allows the attacker to connect remotely to the affected system and take complete control over it.

"Once inside your system, Backdoor.Hupigon.aahh will give absolute control over your PC to a remote intruder. By accessing your personal and financial information, Backdoor.Hupigon.aahh will be enabled to compromise with your security and privacy", SpywareRemove.com added.

Supposing you got infected with the backdoor, how can you remove it? Well, some of you may believe it's enough to remove the Backdoor.Hupigon.aahh entry from the Windows Control Panel, but it isn't. Keep in mind that every infection has lots of hidden files, so even if you uninstall it from the Control Panel, it gets reinstalled once the computer is rebooted. So, the only solution would be installing/updating the antivirus technology and scan your computer.

In case you're not sure if you're infected or not, you should check if RemoteAbc.exe is among the running process on your computer. To do that, just open Task Manager (right click on the Taskbar and select Task Manager) and search for the said executable file in the Processes tab.
