The new trailer for the second season of the political drama “House of Cards” is extremely exciting without being too revealing.

It focuses on the idea that Kevin Spacey's character, Frank Underwood, is finally going to end in the Oval Office of the White House.

As Frank so bluntly puts it in the scene where he's sworn in as vice-president: “One heartbeat away from the presidency and not a single vote cast in my name. Democracy is so overrated.”

The trailer also alludes to all the dirty dealings Frank has done in the past and are now resurfacing to haunt his political ambitions. The only hint of a battle is, again, Frank's laconic commentary, “There is but one rule: hunt or be hunted.”

Plenty of intrigue as well as new and exciting developments are expected in the second season of “House of Cards,” which will be airing starting February 14 on Netflix. The network announced that it would be filming the series in the ultra high-resolution format 4K.
