Europeans however, didn't like it all that much

Fans of Tomonobu Itagaki's Dead or Alive series are already running across their little rooms at the sight of this title. But there's little reason for that. Although the movie has already hit the big screens in Europe, bad reception leads to its not hitting American cinemas. Bummer dudes! Oh well, guess the magic of piracy will have to kick in again. Care to know why it didn't exactly blow Europeans' minds away?

Apparently, just shooting the movie was a bad experience for the actors. As I found posted on 1UP today, Jamie Pressley (starred in My Name is Earl) spoke to Rotton Tomatoes admitting that the film was trash: "I can't say that I'm upset that it didn't come out. In the process of filming, a lot of bad stuff came up and happened, being that we were over in China in little small villages, you didn't have the means necessary to get things done like you do when you're in Hollywood ... And I think for gamers, a lot of the stuff was inaccurate because they changed it along the way."

Well, I'm sad to hear it, but I can't imagine a film with hot half-naked chicks kicking ass and doing roundhouse kicks getting severely criticized. I mean, yeah sure it may very well have a shallow storyline and not so great atmosphere but in the end, everyone knows it was the girls they came for. So my advice to you is "don't be disappointed at what you're hearing about the movie." Wait and see it. Then we'll talk.
