Nascar, a three-year-old Arabian horse, moved into his owner's home in December when the village of Holt, in northern Germany, was hit by the Hurricane Xaver. Now, more than a month after the incident, it seems that the animal got so comfortable that he doesn't want to leave anymore.

When Stephanie Arndt decided to let the horse in her home, she thought of it as a temporary arrangement. However, the horse feels very cozy inside the house and spends more time there than at his stables.

The animal was sheltered indoors when the bad weather struck the northern part of Europe, including Britain and Germany.

Since practically living in the house, the animal also seems to have acquired human tastes. He is constantly staring at himself in the mirror, he likes to play the keyboard, eat sweets and drink fruit juice, according to Metro.

It seems that the relationship between the horse and his owner got stronger since the animal was allowed to stay in the house, as he and Ms. Arndt use to take occasional naps together.

“He is not a fan of the wind and the rain. [...]He thought it was very appropriate. Sometimes he stands before the mirror and bobs his head,” says the owner.

Stephanie Arndt, a 39-year-old doctor, adds that so far, Nascar has been tidier and cleaner than many teenagers and that he only smashed a cup.

When asked if the horse shouldn't be roaming free in the fields, she also mentioned that the animal had not been kept in the house against his will.

Although he is allowed to spend time inside the house during the day, at night the horse has to return to his stables, so the woman makes sure he goes back there every night before bed, no matter how long it takes.
