First off, it need be said that, for the time being at least, hunting wolves is not illegal in Wyoming. On the contrary, those who feel like shooting one or two of these creatures can easily get a hunting license and go about having some fun.

Otherwise put, the hooded men pictured above did not do anything wrong. As far as legal matters go, this is indeed the case.

The picture was posted on the Wind River Outdoor World's Facebook page some days ago, on October 28, Spokesman reports. It was accompanied by the following message:

“A little Wyoming justice by some folks that are fed up with wolves and the affect they are having on wildlife populations, livestock, and our way of life as hunters and Wyoming residents. The bunny huggers are having a conniption fit over this so let's show our support these guys.”

I don't know about you, but I for one am not surprised that the picture has gone viral. Some Facebook users say that the men have no blame, others condemn their actions and label them as “distasteful.”

I personally share the latter's opinion. I don't care whether hunting wolves is illegal or not, people should not take such pictures and post them online.
