Mrs. Clinton has spoken on the issue on other occasions as well (so it’s not like coming out in support of gay marriage is a huge shock or anything), but never before in such an official capacity as this time.
She sat down for a PSA for the Human Rights Campaign Media, explaining why marriage equality should be a priority in America and how all the other nations are looking at America as a model to follow.
It’s not until gays can marry that the United States can boast of being the free country it always boasts of being, she says.
