14 DAY TRIAL // Last month, singer / actress Hilary Duff caused quite a stir online by admitting in a radio interview that she’d joined the popular dating app community Tinder, saying she was looking for love again, this time in a place she wouldn’t have before.
Shortly after, rumors claimed that the Tinder thing was probably an experiment for her to get material for an upcoming reality show, even though she hadn’t said anything about wanting to do unscripted programming.
As it turns out, it really was an experiment, but for her latest music video. It’s called “Sparks” and was released a short while ago, including footage from Hilary’s experience with Tinder and even from 2 of her blind dates.
You can see it in full below. Hilary explains in the video that she wanted to do “something crazy,” something she would not have done before, and that, once she “surrendered to the experience,” she had a “great time.”
Obviously, there’s no way of telling if any or all the footage featured in the video is the real deal, but it looks like it is. And Hilary seems to be having a blast, which is probably all that matters. The song is nice, too, don’t you think?
