Auzentech announced that the Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1 high fidelity soundcard will be released soon, meaning sometime during the next week, as the manufacturing company already sent shipments to retail channel dealers and other distributors.

According to the manufacturing company press release concerning the imminent launch of the Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1, this is the first third party made soundcard that integrates the Creative X-FI sound chipset. This new soundcard from Auzentech is fully compliant with the EAX 5.0 standard and it also supports additional features like Dolby Digital Live, DTS Interactive, and DTS NeoPC that will be made available through driver updates.

The Creative Labs X-Fi CA20K audio processor that is integrated in the Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1 high fidelity soundcard also integrates AKM digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters and a high 120dB signal to noise ratio at its maximum 24 bits sound resolution and 192KHz sampling rates. As this piece of hardware is intended to be used as a high end soundcard, it implements a number of the central features found in the X-Fi chipset. The X-Fi provides a powerful audio processing engine that is able to boost game performance by at least 15 percent when compared with ordinary audio processing solutions found integrated in computer motherboards. The X-Fi Crystalizer technology is able to deliver a high quality sound even when used with compressed music and movies, while in games the very same technology makes all sound effects "sound crisp and sharp and explosions really boom for the most intense gaming experience yet".

The X-Fi CMSS-3D technology is able to enhance and transform digital movies and music files and adapt the sound output for surround sound over multichannel speakers, stereo speakers or even headphones. The Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1 high fidelity soundcard is fully supported by the latest Microsoft operating system, Windows Vista.
