14 DAY TRIAL // Blizzard confirms that it's soon going to roll out a few more improvements for Heroes of the Storm, including a refined user interface, not to mention a better hero league mode, while launching the team league experience for groups of players.
Heroes of the Storm has grown in popularity ever since the debut of the closed beta stage for the popular multiplayer online battle arena experience, and Blizzard is committed to improving the actual title.
At PAX East over the weekend, the studio not only confirmed that a new hero and a new map are coming to Heroes of the Storm, but also went on to reveal some of the smaller yet essential improvements that will soon arrive for it, according to the official website.
A better user interface is coming alongside team league
First up, a more refined user interface is soon going to debut in Heroes of the Storm. The new design makes the player portraits stand out a bit more, while the summary screen is better at relaying important information such as account level, hero level, or even the potential hero league rank. In the stats screen, players can also devour more detailed information about their recent match and how everyone performed.
The team league mode is also getting ready for its launch in the game, as it will allow players to create up to three teams that can include even nine people each, which will be available for 5v5 battles. Each team will have separate rankings so the experience should be pretty balanced, according to Blizzard.
Starcraft 2 fans will also rejoice to hear that a Grandmaster League is also coming, which should include the best of the best and provide some great matches for all players and viewers to enjoy.
As of yet, however, Blizzard isn't ready to commit to a release date for the next major update for Heroes of the Storm, so it's unclear when all the new things will debut for the game.
