Back in the days when “Prison Break” was still airing, Wentworth Miller was the absolute hunk on TV. Once the series wrapped, he did a few movies but mostly kept to himself, because he was focusing on other projects.

Fans must have missed him dearly, especially considering he’s not the kind of guy who rings up the paparazzi to let them know that he’s going out so they can follow him and take his picture. If anything, he’s the opposite of that.

Well, Miller is making his comeback to television, but this time he’s taking on a villainous role: he’s playing Captain Cold in the new CW series “The Flash.” And we have the first two photos of him in character, as they were posted on Instagram by Geoff Johns.

If the name doesn’t ring a bell, I should note that Johns is the DC Comics Chief Creative Officer, and he seems positively thrilled at seeing Miller in the role. You can see his messages accompanying the pics below.

Captain Cold / Leonard Snart will appear in episode 4 and 10 of the first season, but hopefully, if all goes well, producers might be tempted to give Wentworth a bit more screentime. The villain is the leader of Rogues, a group that also includes the pyromaniac Heatwave / Mick Rory.

This character is played by Dominic Purcell, who played Miller’s brother in “Prison Break.” So there, “The Flash” isn’t just Miller’s comeback to TV, it’s also a mini-“Prison Break” reunion.
