As you all know, the Xbox 360 is on the receiving end of quite a lot of new features for its Xbox Live online service and for its dashboard user interface. Besides being able, at the end of the year, to interact with Facebook or Twitter, the console will get its own Games on Demand mode this month.

It will be offering a pretty big variety of fresh video games that have appealed to many gamers around the world as digital downloads that will be stored on the hard drive of the console. But don't think that this service will rival Steam or other programs on the PC, as day-and-date releases aren't possible just yet, meaning that older titles will be marketed on the service.

Microsoft has just revealed to the press two lists containing that games that will be available when the service starts this month in North America and Japan. While a lot of games you might be used to are marketed for North Americans, the Japanese Xbox 360 users are certainly getting something more localized.

Here are the games that will arrive for the North American territory:

Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft) Burnout Paradise (EA) Call of Duty® 2 (Activision) Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Fight Night Round 3 (EA) Kameo: Elements of Power (Microsoft Game Studios) LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (LucasArts) Mass Effect (Microsoft Game Studios) Meet The Robinsons (Disney) MX vs. ATV Untamed (THQ) Need for Speed Carbon (EA) Need for Speed: Most Wanted (EA) Perfect Dark Zero (Microsoft Game Studios) Prey (2K Games) Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis (Rockstar Games) Sega Rally (Sega) TEST DRIVE: UNLIMITED (Atari) Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas Tomb Raider Legend (Eidos) Viva Pinata (Microsoft Game Studios) Viva Pinata 2: Trouble in Paradise (Microsoft Game Studios).

Here are the titles that will appear in Japan:

Idolmaster Idolmaster Live 4 U Viva Pinata Need for Speed: Most Wanted Perfect Dark Zero Bullet Witch Fight Night: Round 3 Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Overall, some pretty interesting titles that might attract gamers who passed on purchasing the games when they were first released at the pricey $60 point.
