New on-set photos confirm the actor is in top physical shape

When Zack Snyder announced that he was re-booting “Superman,” not many fans of the ultimate caped superhero were thrilled. Casting Henry Cavill, a relative unknown for the part, was also deemed a mistake.

Haters and skeptics must be eating their words now.

A new batch of on-set photos have emerged online and, if anything, they prove Cavill really dedicated himself to becoming the Man of Steel – by working his body like crazy.

Snapped on the set in Vancouver, the pics show a shirtless, scruffy and torn Cavill rehearsing scenes in front of a giant green screen.

There's really no use pointing out his incredibly ripped physique because it's almost the first thing that catches the eye, but suffice it to say Cavill is already making new fans each day with photos like this – and the movie isn't even out yet.

All jokes aside, it's nice to see Snyder went for a bigger, more muscular Superman because that would mean he'd also change up the story a bit, to make it stand apart from previous installments and, this way, hopefully win over a new segment of the audience.
