Red Rover Games has recently made available the full version of its match-three puzzler for Mac, Safari Sketch. While the game has nothing to do with Apple's standard web browser on Leopard-running machines, the title has players visiting exotic places around the globe and encountering endangered species from those respective locales. The company has also announced a $2 donation for each Safari Sketch copy sold.

The money will go to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) - nonprofit: "Red Rover Games wants to make a contribution to the conservation of the beautiful creatures from around the world that inspired the creation of Safari Sketch," said Roger Nall, president/founder of Red Rover Games. "By partnering with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, we will be able to support the conservation of wildlife the world over."

Safari Sketch will turn you into a regular adventurer. You'll be gathering more than 50 "hand-rendered" exotic and endangered species of plants, animals and insects, including the Giant Panda, the Sumatran Rhinoceros, and the world's rarest insect, the Lord Howe Island Stick Insect, according to the makers.

You'll have to watch your step though, as these endangered species don't live anywhere near you, but around reefs, snowy mountains, archipelagoes, and all sorts of jungles. If you find matches for each and every one of them and clear the puzzle board before "daylight" fades, you can unlock sketches and illustrations of over 50 endangered and exotic species, discover interesting facts about each of the species in Safari Sketch, unlock new puzzles and so on.

The game keeps a journal of the illustrations you've collected throughout your gameplay, with an entry containing interesting facts about each creature presented. You will be challenged to overcome over 100 mind-twisting puzzles with both obstacles and helpers, and you'll get to travel to 12 unique locations around the world. Various game modes are available, but you can see what each one of them is all about in this free trial version.
