14 DAY TRIAL // The touching moment when a firefighter saves a boy has been captured on a helmet camera. The incident was captured during a blaze in Lawrenceburg.
Police and the fire department stepped up to rescue three children and two adults, WHNT reported. The incident took place after 2 a.m. at Oak Grove Apartments.
Emergency teams used drop ladders to save the child featured in the video. One fireman holds the child while a second man waits by the base of the ladder to catch him.
”Drop him! Drop the kid!” the second operator says.
Two other children were dropped from a balcony and they are now safe. Investigators have learned that the fire has started in a senior's apartment. A nine-year-old boy staying with her alerted the other residents.
