Technaxx is relatively new in the business

What's Technaxx? Who cares? The important thing is they are PMP manufactures and they have recently announced its brand new line of DAPs and PMPs. It is most likely to be unknown to most of the electronics addicts out there, as the company is rather new in the business.

The Technaxx MV3 is the first new addition in the portfolio. It's not very humble, as expected from a new comer. It features 2GB and 4GB of memory storage capacity. As for its design, the device boasts a nice 2.2-inch 176 x 200-pixel resolution 262K-color screen. Its capabilities are not so bad either, as it can deal with most of the file formats available on the market, such as MP3, WMA, AVI, JPEG and BMP, BMP, a native Xvid at 20 fps. Not to mention it managed to follow some of the latest trends in the industry, allowing the user to handle eBooks available on the Internet.

The next item on the list was dubbed MV4. It features almost the same design patterns as the previous device. This time, the screen's size was reduced to only 1.8 inches, still reasonable for a PMP. The regular dull control scheme was nicely replaced with an elaborate touch-sensitive one. Its capabilities have remained unchanged, meaning it can still play MP3, WMA, AVI, JPEG and BMP.

Technaxx MV5 is another kettle of fish. This one is probably the weirdest PMP you'll ever see. It looks like a miniature microwave in the photos. It sports a tiny screen of only 1-inch 65k-color square porthole in the front. The capabilities are almost the same as those used when designing the other two devices, such as MP3, WMA, WAV, ASF, SMV, JPEG, BMP and has USB 2.0 and 6 EQ modes that are said to improve the sound quality.

And finally, the last player on the list is MV DVB which as you have probably guessed comes equipped with a TV out option, in case the built-in 2.4 inch LCD isn't enough. Besides that it's the same story, meaning nice design, claimed accurate sound and usual capabilities like playing MPEG 1, MPEG4, DAT, VOB, AVI, MP3, JPEG.

I don't know about you, but it seems to me the fellows from Technaxx have begun their businesses with some serious stuff. Still, there is no word about pricing and availability details; therefore I cannot say more about the quality and price balance. We shall see about that! Hopefully!
