The official Hellgate: London website has announced that the 0.7 patch for the action-RPG is now available for players to download. It has a really great changelist, among which, arguably the most important is the chapter regarding memory usage.

"The instability of the client is something that has embarrassed and bothered us since the game launched, and we are incredibly happy to be able to address it in such a substantive way before the holiday break", the developers team said about this change.

So, here are the most important changes made by this 0.7 patch:

The memory manager has been rewritten for better performance and stability, UI-related memory leak has been fixed, a clothing and armor texture-related memory issue has also been changed. Also, the difficulty of Nightmare has been rebalanced. More overall experience is earned in Nightmare levels, scaling of group experience and difficulty has been improved, and the overall level progression has been adjusted.

They have also fixed the issue of skills being added to and/or removed from Shift activation when swapping weapons and now investing a skill point into an Aura skill will no longer automatically cause it to activate. The templar's taunt skills are no longer reduced in effectiveness when in a group and, regarding the Blademaster, Path of Righteousness now applies damage from offhand melee weapons.

These are just some of the most important changes, the full list may be checked out right now on the Hellgate: London official website.

But this patch is not the only thing players will receive from the developers - a little holiday gift for the already subscribed players can now be taken advantage of: 12 new weapons and the Transmogrifier, a mystic box that transforms the junk you put in it into something new and wonderful. So, nothing else left to say but... happy downloading!
