14 DAY TRIAL // JustNine, the creator of the critically-acclaimed HellKid game for iPhone, just announced a major updates for its HellKid Free version, but also an update for HellKid Full Version.
Even though both version of the game have been updated, only the free version received a major update.
The major update consists in removal of stage and level restriction and furthermore, network play will be now available and the users will be able to play with other players as long as they have the recent versions of HellKid.
One more interesting update enable players to earn free Souls, thus unlocking new characters and making possible the purchase of new items.
"This update was mainly prepared for our current users" said Jin Sang Kim, JustNine's CEO. "I hope this update is a pleasant one to our users who are tight on the budget and don't have enough time to collect enough Souls to purchase items and characters, which can be crucial to compete in Global Match."
HellKid is a simple designed game that borrows the conventional 2D side-scrolling platform to offer gamers maximum relaxation after a stressful day.
The game offers 5 unique stages that should meet any player's demands. The players can take the role of any of the 5 different characters with different abilities including the original character, Devi, and Item Shop that sells unique items to use for Network and Single Play.
To make things even more interesting, JustNine introduced another feature with the new update called Soccer Mode, which targets football fans.
The wide range of social networking services features still remains even after the updates are done, as players can continue to submit their scores to Facebook and Twitter, as well as play their own music while playing the game.
The game features support for English, French, Russian, German, Korean and Japanese languages and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices running iPhone OS 3.0 or later.
Both HellKid Free, as well as HellKid Full Version can be downloaded through the AppStore. While the former comes at no cost, the latter can be downloaded for a mere $0.99.
