Usually, a celebrity wedding means almost everything we only see in movies, from helicopters to romantic castles, pearls and diamonds in each glass of champagne, and whatnot. For supermodel Heidi Klum and husband Seal, the renewal of their vows meant anything but that, choosing a white trash theme for their fourth anniversary, Access Hollywood reports.

Over the weekend, the power couple held the annual party which sees them renewing their wedding vows in front of their friends and family members. For this year, Heidi and Seal chose a fun, albeit somewhat tacky theme to make for a ceremony neither they nor the guests will ever forget: a white trash wedding, complete with plastic garden ornaments in pink, and the tackiness of having the pregnant bride smoking a (plastic) cigarette.

The bride wore cornrows, fake bling and fake silver nails, together with a low-cut bridal jumpsuit, the kind that was once very popular with some women. The groom, on the other hand, was not to be outdone by his beautiful wife, and he chose a mullet (a wig, of course) – hailed by many as the epitome of white trash –, a shirt with the American flag and cutoff jeans. Together, they made for the wackiest, most beautiful celebrity couple to walk down the aisle in many, many years, several media outlets are saying.

“Even with cornrows, Heidi looked stunning. After the ceremony, and as the sun set, Seal took care of Heidi and helped her put on [a] black leather jacket so she would stay warm. Everyone was laughing and having good time.” an eyewitness tells People magazine, as cited by Access Hollywood. Celebrity guests, dressed just as funny, included television star Debra Messing, while the priest who officiated the ceremony was an Elvis Presley impersonator.

Heidi Klum and Seal first tied the knot on May 10, 2005. Ever since, they’ve renewed their vows annually, saying this was the perfect occasion to “remember who it was you fell in love with,” while also being “a good excuse to have a big party.” Heidi and Seal have three children – and the supermodel is now pregnant with their fourth, a baby girl, as Seal revealed to Oprah on her show.
