Struggling to get your web site up to par? Try Sandvox 1.2.7, one of the best web site development applications out there, that integrates beautifully with .Mac and iLife, featuring attractive templates and UI (user interface). A trial version of the software is available right HERE.

"Sandvox is fast becoming the website creation tool for people who want to spend time developing their lives, not their websites. Creating a website can be easy and elegant. Drag and drop content, watch your site take shape as you create it, and make it available to others with Sandvox's publishing assistant. Sandvox is that simple-and that powerful," says Karelia Software.

Now, whether it's a personal web site you want to revamp, a business web site, or both, Sandvox's text, image, audio, and video sharing features will be of great help to you, with more than 40 site designs being available (with viewport settings for optimized display on iPhones), according to the developers.

For those who are already familiar with Karelia's solution, there's new stuff to be had with version 1.2.7, such as: customizable banners that let you personalize your site; a comprehensive and completely integrated Help feature with more than 200 articles, including step-by-step "How do I...?" pages; localization for French, Italian, Danish, German, Japanese, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese languages; improved Flash file support; "Code Injection," improved HTML editing, and Google Webmaster tools (Pro Version).

Probably the most notable changes with v1.2.7 include improvements to iMedia Browser, with the new movie thumbnailing code, and Leopard compatibility with Graphical Title Text replacement.

A "draft" mode has also been added, excluding selected pages from publication, while the snapshot feature saves work in progress. Seventeen pagelet types have also been included with the new release, for adding sidebars and call-outs. Amazon, Digg, Del.icio.us, and Flickr pagelets are available.

Sandvox got second place in Apple's 2007 Design Awards for Best Mac OS X User Experience.
