Are you ready for a revolution when it comes to watching movies? Then meet Headpaly virtual 52-inch visor screen, a device that I'm sure will radically change the way we watch movies while...traveling. It's not a real 52-inch visor screen. The view experience is akin to 52 inch. It actually comes with a 4-inch screen.

Movie lovers should note that this gadget is a portable (that's the word!) movie viewer whose main component is a sun visor that includes a monitor. Really. It brings new technology to the "virtual screen" market.

Here's what makes it different from other virtual visor screens: a box shaped device dubbed the "Liberator" (liberating TV screen, right?). This thing's video decoding engine will let you check photos or videos directly from one of several inputs: a Dock Connector handles videos directly from iPods or USB ports as well as a CompactFlash card slot handle input from cameras. It also allows PCs and TVs to attach to the visor. The target customers are gamers and long distance travelers that want to avoid seeing annoying neighbor compartments.

Here's how it works. In a nutshell, you see the media content watching through two eyepieces. The standard digital TV monitor (the 4-inch one, yeah) beams images through this set of eyepieces. By looking through the eyepieces, your mind "sees" that big rectangular virtual 52-inch monitor on top of a black background.

The PCS also includes a cool remote that allows you to manage content on digital playback sources. The bad news is that you can't use peripheral vision. Anyway, you have to sacrifice something when you buy a product. You also have to give up REAL vision.

Headplay's PCS will be out in June and will sell for 499$.
