While US movie studios are toiling away, trying to secure the rights to remake Jo Nesbø's best-selling 2008 thriller for audiences at home, we have the original film opening next month.

A new trailer tailored for the US has just been released – you can see it in full above.

“Headhunters” tells the story of a corporate headhunter, Roger, played by Askel Hennie, who has become accustomed to a life of luxury on debts alone.

Forced by circumstances, he turns to stealing and selling art works to fund his lifestyle. Things take a turn for the worse when his wife tells him of a potential new mark, who is in possession of a genuine Rubens.

Fans of “Game of Thrones” will surely recognize Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as the villain.

“Headhunters” will be out in theaters on April 27. In the meantime, Summit Entertainment is trying to remake this, with Mark Wahlberg as the lead.
