14 DAY TRIAL // Just days after confirmation came that actress Hayden Panettiere and boxing champ Wladimir Klitschko had rekindled their romance, comes a rumor that they might actually be getting ready to walk down the aisle.
Inside (and unnamed) sources say for Us Magazine that the two are actually secretly engaged and planning a summer wedding.
Reps for neither stars were immediately available for comment at the time word of this got out, but the glossy insists that the engagement story is accurate.
“Very few people know, and she isn't wearing her ring publicly yet,” says one such source, a friend.
“Looks like a summer wedding!” the spy adds.
Further details are not available at this time but, no doubt about it, if this is true, more should emerge in the following days.
For the time being though, all that is certain is that Hayden and Wlad are back on, after splitting in 2011 and ending their 2-year romance.
They were once considered one of the unlikeliest couples in showbiz but, even so, news of the breakup still surprised many, since they seemed to be completely smitten.
In a statement released at the time announcing the split, both Hayden and Wlad insisted that no third party was involved and that the decision to go their separate ways was entirely based on the fact that long-distance relationships are simply not for everyone.
They were among those who could not make one work, they said.
“We had a great time together, but it’s not that easy to manage a relationship between two continents,” Wladimir explained.
“I have a lot of respect for Hayden as a person and as a friend, and I believe we’ll keep our friendship even after the separation,” he added.
It seems like they found a way to finally make it work – and even to take it to the next stage, if it’s true that they’re engaged.
