Regent Street Store, 6 February: be there!

Living in a computer world may not seem fun at all for those outside it, but besides the virtual locations where you can have fun, some computer-related events that happen in the real world can be really good occasions to have fun and meet new, interesting people (if you don't know the joke with the US Marines, about meeting new, interesting people, then you should Google for it, because I have another subject in my mind now), and Apple is the perfect company to provide such an event...

The location of the event is the Apple Store located at 235 Regent Street in London. Although the store is usually open from 10AM to 9PM, Monday to Saturday, and Sundays, from noon to 6PM, tomorrow a special event will happen between 9PM and 10PM, an event that involves an indie rock band from Glasgow, Scotland...

If you didn't figure that out yet, the band I was talking about is called The Fratellis. After playing their first ever gig on the 4th of March, 2005, in a bar called O'Henry's from Glasgow, The Fratellis made their breakthrough into the musical scene next year, with the EP entitled simply "The Fratellis". Recently nominated for Best Breakthrough Band in the 2007 Brit Awards, they released a single full length album so far, called "Costello Music", last September, an album that reached the second position in the official UK album charts.

Now... are you interested in seeing this band live? Apple confirmed that the "Live From London" gig at the Regent Street Apple Store will feature The Fratellis, that will perform an acoustic set on the 6th of February, at 9PM, as I was saying earlier. This event happens just before the band starts their sold out UK tour, and is going to be recorded and selected tracks will be available exclusively - where else - on the iTunes Store.

As seating will be limited, you're advised to try and get there early, or else you may miss your place. Go there, have fun, and maybe you'll share your impressions with the rest of us!
