Real enthusiastic about Splinter Cell: Double Agent? You don't own an Xbox 360, a PlayStation 2, a GameCube or an Xbox? Or you just hate game console and see yourself as a PC kinda' guy?

No need to worry; your time will soon come. Ubisoft just spread the word that the PC version of the latest installment in the Splinter Cell series, Double agent, has gone gold. PC gamers will soon be able to get a hold of their mice and point Sam Fisher in the right direction.

If you couldn't restrain yourself and tried the PS2 and Xbox 360 version, then you already know that the game is set after the events of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Sam Fisher, the main character of the game is on an arctic mission, when he finds out that his expertise is needed in order to get back a large cache of red mercury from a well-known terrorist group.

Something surprising happens, as his daughter, Sarah, ends up dead after a hit and run accident, caused by a drunk driver. Sam falls into depression and he is unable to perform his retrieval mission properly. He is pulled from the mission by his superior and lays low for a couple of months.

I'm not going to reveal the whole plot and ending so if you want to know, wait until November 9 to buy the PC version.
