The catch was finding other, just as famous, 60-year-old cultural icons, to base the portraits on.
The “60-year-old personalities that represent a moment in time and still keep making history through different kinds of media” would have to be distinctive-looking enough to fit the Mr. Potato Head brand.
The Hasbro character wound up being portrayed as Mr.T, Dee Dee Ramone of the punk rock band the Ramones, Mad Magazine mascot Alfred E. Neuman and El Tri Mexican musician Alex Lora.
The Mr. T potato-head, relayed by Mashable, is probably the funniest in the bunch, as the star's head has a shape reminiscent of Hasbro's character anyway.
